 We
are located on the second floor of a factory building that saw many
industrial uses prior to being converted into work spaces for artists. Known as the
Pajama
Factory, our neighbors include writers, painters, sculptors, a
ceramics studio, community darkroom, and a host of other creative
resources.
Beyond our studio walls,
we have access to common areas indoors and out giving us the luxury of
a "studio without walls".
Huge spans of windows,
well-worn staircases, and doorways to the nooks and crannies of the
complex offer a plethora of unique backdrops to create one-of-a-kind
portraits.

While being able to offer
the traditional backgrounds for standard portraiture, the facility
provides seemingly endless possibilities to create distinctive images
with a gritty - street - urban feel usually reserved for the bigger
cities.
More than once, clients
from New York City have exclaimed "this is just like New York!" as they
arrive for portrait sessions and consultations. |
